Privacy

This website

• No analytics or tracking scripts. The site sets no tracking cookies and loads no third-party scripts. Sign-in uses one session cookie.
• Checkout: your email and chosen edition are sent to the payment provider (Stripe or Razorpay) to create the payment; the providers' own privacy policies apply to the payment itself. We never see card details.
• Orders and accounts: after payment we store your email, order id, edition, amount and license key — the minimum to honor the license, updates and support. A buyer account adds a name and a password hash. Order emails are delivered through Resend.
• License keys contain a SHA-256 hash of your email, never the address itself.
• Community: posts, comments, votes and uploaded images or videos are stored with your display name and are visible to other buyers.
• Downloads: signed links contain your order id and an expiry; standard web-server logs may record requests.
• The product does not phone home — deployments of purchased source send nothing to us.

The demo apps (Google Play, TestFlight)

RideKit Demo, RideKit Demo Driver and RideKit Demo Fleet are demonstrations of the RideKit source product for people evaluating it. They are not a taxi service: no real rides take place, no money is charged, and the data is sample data on a demo server that is reset from time to time.

• Phone number: used to sign you in. On the demo server no SMS is sent — the code is shown in the app.
• Name and profile details you enter, and any documents or photos you upload in the Driver demo (for example a sample driving licence — please upload test images, not real documents).
• Location: the Rider demo uses your location while the app is open to show nearby cars and set a pickup point. The Driver demo uses your location while the app is open, and — only after you accept it in the app — in the background during an active demo trip, so the demo rider's map keeps moving while the driver app is minimised. Tracking stops when the trip ends. The Fleet demo does not use location at all.
• Push notification token of your device, so demo ride events can be delivered.
• Diagnostics: standard server logs (IP address, request path, time).

Demo data is used only to run the demonstration. It is not sold, not used for advertising, and not shared with anyone except the infrastructure providers that host the demo server. It is deleted when the demo server is reset, and you can delete your demo account yourself at any time from the app's settings or at api.ridekit.dev/api/account/deletion/web.
