City rides — fixed quotes or bidding

Every market chooses its pricing mode: fixed upfront quotes, or inDrive-style bidding with offer/counter-offer on both apps and a one-shot 60-second bid grace on dispatch. Multi-stop rides (up to 3 stops) price per leg and give the driver a per-stop arrival progression.

Fares keep their integrity end-to-end: the final charge is recomputed from actual distance and time, and a waiting meter runs where both sides can watch it. A shown promo discount is actually charged — persisted at booking, settled on the discounted fare.

Parcels — custody, not just delivery

OTP at both ends plus photo proof of delivery, with codes redacted from the courier's app so possession of the phone is never possession of the parcel. Failure paths are priced, not improvised: a free retry first, then return-to-sender at 60% of the fare with the courier paid for both legs.

The admin shows the full chain of custody, and each market sets its own size/weight tier pricing. The vertical is market-gated — enable it where you operate it.

Rentals — packages with a live meter

Hourly packages (1h/10km up to 12h/120km) are seeded from each market's own economy fare, so a package in Nairobi isn't priced off Mumbai's tariff. A live overage meter is mirrored in both apps, destinations can be edited mid-trip, an expiry sweeper closes abandoned packages, and the rider — not a timer — ends the trip.

Intercity — the economics drivers accept

One-way trips at 1.3×, round trips at 0.85× with a 250 km/day floor, driver daily/night allowances and toll/permit line items on the fare. Drivers opt in, and that opt-in is a dispatch predicate — nobody is surprised with a 400 km assignment. Scheduled departures dispatch with a 30-minute lead.
